We are excited to share that we are in the process of developing SyncroSim 3.0. This major update will bring a host of enhancements designed to streamline your experience and improve efficiency. Here’s a sample of what to expect:
- Package updates: We are simplifying our package system so that any package can connect to another via pipelines, where the outputs of a package can be used as inputs for others.
- Enhanced versioning: Libraries will automatically track compatibility with SyncroSim packages, ensuring anyone working with the library is also using the same package versions that were used to create the library.
- Improved package management: If you’re missing a package, SyncroSim will automatically install it when you load a library, eliminating dependency issues.
- External file tracking: We are modernizing our reference system for external files, such as GeoTiffs, to reduce file duplication and free up disk space. This will also make the average size of a SyncroSim library considerably smaller, allowing for easier sharing, such as on SyncroSim Cloud.
Stay tuned for more updates and thank you for being part of our community.
