We are excited to share that we are in the process of developing SyncroSim 3.0. This major update will bring a host of enhancements designed to streamline your experience and improve efficiency. Here’s a sample of what to expect:
Package updates: We are simplifying our package system so that any package can connect to another via pipelines, where the outputs of a package can be used as inputs for others.
Enhanced versioning: Libraries will automatically track compatibility with SyncroSim packages, ensuring anyone working with the library is also using the same package versions that were used to create the library.
Improved package management: If you’re missing a package, SyncroSim will automatically install it when you load a library, eliminating dependency issues.
External file tracking: We are modernizing our reference system for external files, such as GeoTiffs, to reduce file duplication and free up disk space. This will also make the average size of a SyncroSim library considerably smaller, allowing for easier sharing, such as on SyncroSim Cloud.
Stay tuned for more updates and thank you for being part of our community.
