I’ve been playing around with running models on spatial data, input as rasters exported from ArcMap. Under the ‘Project Definitions’ section in ST-SIM, I’ve been able to match pixel values with the correct model using the ID column under “Vegetation Type”. But what about pixels that don’t have a corresponding model (like Open Water, Barren Rock, “Sparsely Vegetated Systems”)? How does ST-SIM treat those pixels if there is no model matched to them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Kevin,

Pixels in the raster that have no corresponding code in the model are ignored and not loaded into the model at run time. They are however, included in the calculated area shown in the initial conditions screen where you load the data.

    Regards,
