What's New in SyncroSim Cloud

March 30, 2026

SyncroSim Cloud has received a series of updates over the past several months, adding new ways to explore model outputs, share results with collaborators, and work with your data entirely in the browser. Here's a summary of what's new.

Side-by-Side Map Comparison

The new side-by-side map comparison tool lets you view two model results next to each other within a single interface. This makes it easier to spot differences across time steps, spatial extents, or scenarios without toggling between views.

A full suite of map tools is available alongside the comparison view:

  • Link or unlink views to pan and zoom together or independently
  • Transparency slider to blend model outputs with basemaps
  • Basemap switching between satellite (Mapbox),standard views (OpenStreetMap), or no basemap
  • Identify tool to click any pixel and see the underlying values
  • Zoom controls to explore outputs at broad or fine spatial scales

No plugins or installations required — everything runs directly in your browser.

Improved Chart Controls and Export Options

Charts in SyncroSim Cloud now offer more control over how your figures look and how you share them. You can:

  • Toggle panel titles, legends, and grid lines on or off
  • Move the legend to the bottom of the chart
  • Switch to a colourblind-friendly colour palette
  • Flip between linear and log scales

When you're ready to share your work, you can download chart data as a CSV or export a snapshot of your charts and maps directly from the platform.

View Model Data in Your Browser

The new Tables feature brings library datasheets into SyncroSim Cloud, letting you explore model inputs and parameters directly in your browser. This makes it easier for collaborators and decision-makers to review model configurations, understand assumptions, and engage with results on any device, including Windows, macOS, and android.

Tables is the first step toward fully web-based modeling workflows in SyncroSim Cloud, with more features planned in the coming months.
