Including zeros in output

Before running a model in St-Sim I have been checking the output option of “Include zero values”. My intent is to ensure I am calculating true transition averages when I export the output into Excel for use in pivot tables. However, it does not appear the spreadsheet contains any zero values, even though I can tell certain transition groups do not occur in certain years.

Might this be a user error on my part?

Hi Josh,

 

This is not an error on your part.  Simply, the option applies only to state class output.  The checkbox is beside the state class selection in the output options but I can see how this could be easily misrepresented as applying to all types of summary output. Similarly, the interval mean values applies only to transitions.
