Using SyncroSim with cloud computing

We recently received the following question from a SyncroSim user:

Question: Can the ST-Sim SyncroSim package be run on cloud-based virtual machines? Do you have a recommendation for which cloud computing service might work best? AWS, Azure, Google?

Answer: Yes, any SyncroSim package can be run on a cloud based virtual machine (Windows or Linux). We typically use AWS but have also worked with Azure. Any cloud computing platform that supports Windows or Linux operating systems should be fine.
